Wedding Receptions

The hall is set in picturesque grounds in a rural setting in the village of Lower Hardres and is 10 minutes from Canterbury and also 15 minutes from the M20. The hall is available for wedding receptions throughout the year, with access available from the afternoon before for preparing the hall as well as the following morning for clearing up.

The main hall can seat up to 120 guests, and you have the use of a removable stage, lighting and a PA system. In addition, there is off-street parking for 50 cars. The hall has good natural light, is spacious and airy, and is complemented by an attractive interior and modern facilities. It has a well-equipped modern kitchen for either self-catering or outside caterers to use.

There are great opportunities for wedding photographs within the grounds. The outside grassed area can also be used for marquees to provide additional accommodation in conjunction with the hall. Charges

• From 13.00 on Friday to midnight on Saturday and to late afternoon of the Sunday: £750 with a £100 deposit at time of booking.
• Additional £200 returnable damage deposit.
• Stage, Microphone, Drop Down Screen and Overhead Projector are available for use on request for no additional fee.

Booking arrangements

Your booking will only be confirmed on payment of the deposit and the balance payable four weeks before the event. The committee reserves the right to ask for an additional deposit for certain functions and to refuse the use of the hall at their discretion.

Cancellation charges

• Notice of cancellation of less than 4 weeks forfeits 50% of your deposit of hire charge.
• Notice of cancellation of less than 2 weeks forfeits all of your deposit of hire charge.
